The Gardens The gardens that surround Fruit Salad Farm Country Cottages are both rambling and beautiful. As you cross our bridge over Wilkes Creek, you enter the truly private and enchanting grounds of the property. Wildlife abounds, often visited by animals (such as wallabies, wombats and koalas) and always visited by native birds (such as King Parrots, Rosellas, Cockatoos, Kookaburras and Lyrebirds). You can sit outside your cottage and be sure of seeing at least one of these stunning birds which although cpmletely wild, are quite tame. (The lyrebirds are extremely shy and you may not always be lucky enough to see them, but you can usually hear their extraordinary mimicking calls). | |||
